On December 7 (KST), BLACKPINK’s Rosé appeared on Hits Radio, where she discussed various topics such as her songwriting process and meeting Taylor Swift.
“He didn’t actually steal my Tiffany rings,” Rosé said, adding, “We just made that one up”.
According to Rosé, she was shocked that the internet reacted strongly to that line, before adding that the focus of the line was supposed to be its second half, “but i’ll never forgive you for one thing, my dear / you wasted my prettiest years” and that a lot of her song lyrics are metaphors.
In the same video, Rosé also recalled how she got Taylor Swift’s personal number.

“I feel a bit embarrassed because it felt like I was going around bragging about it”, the female idol shared, before adding that it did feel like a “biggest flex ever”. Additionally, Rosé mentioned that she saved the number as “Taylor” in the phone, that they are friends, and stated that Taylor Swift is one of the people she hopes to have a collab with.
Finally, Rosé discussed an experience where she cried at the recording studio, in front of people she never met.
“They were asking me what I’ve been through in life”, she expressed, adding, “I was like, Oh actually I’ve been through something and I ended up bawling my eyes out. Just crying in front of all these people I’ve never met before. And then they were like let’s write a song about it.”
According to Rosé, this recording session ended with her writing “Vampirehollie”.
